Denise Lawrence has been hailed as the UK's top jazz, blues and gospel vocalist. She leads her band with style and humour aided by her husband, pianist, Tony Lawrence. Together they organise, compere and manage residential jazz events in all corners of the UK. as well as abroad. "The Denise Lawrence Band" appear at jazz clubs, festivals and theatres as well as performing at weddings, parties and Rotarian and Masonic events. Formed back in 1982, the band have appeared on radio and television as well as making eight CDs. They also have a 'demo' CD available. The band currently record on the 'Raymer Sound' label. |
